Menyeimbangkan Teknologi dan Kemanusiaan dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris

Era digital telah mengubah lanskap pendidikan bahasa Inggris (ELT) melalui integrasi teknologi seperti AI dan platform pembelajaran adaptif. Namun, dominasi teknologi menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan hilangnya dimensi humanistik dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap keseimbangan antara penggunaan teknologi dan pendekatan humanistik dalam ELT. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert dari 21 mahasiswa program studi Tadris Bahasa Inggris. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif menggunakan SPSS, meliputi perhitungan mean, standar deviasi, serta uji validitas (Corrected Item-Total Correlation) dan reliabilitas (Cronbach's Alpha). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sangat mengapresiasi efisiensi teknologi dalam memberikan akses sumber belajar dan umpan balik instan. Namun, mereka tetap menekankan pentingnya interaksi manusia, empati, dan dukungan emosional dari dosen untuk mengatasi kecemasan berbahasa dan membangun motivasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa teknologi tidak dipandang sebagai pengganti dosen, melainkan sebagai alat pelengkap. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan pentingnya model pembelajaran yang mensinergikan efisiensi digital dengan sentuhan manusiawi guna menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna.
