Kajian tentang Bagaimana Pekerjaan di Sektor Pertanian & Nilai Tambah Industri Mendorong Pertumbuhan Ekonomi

Sektor pertanian dan industri dapat berjalan beriringan dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi. Penelitian kami menguji pengaruh variabel pekerjaan di sektor pertanian dan nilai tambah industri terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Menggunakan kajian rentang waktu (time series) dari tahun 2000 hingga 2016, dan analisis dengan Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel nilai tambah (value-added) dan pekerjaan sektor pertanian berdampak signifikan positif terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) dalam jangka panjang. Menariknya, analisis dalam jangka pendek menunjukkan hasil berbeda. Variabel pekerjaan sektor pertanian dan nilai tambah, sama sekali tidak menunjukkan pengaruh apapun terhadap PDB. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pengaruh kedua sektor tersebut membutuhkan waktu penyesuaian agar berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, untuk menguatkan perekonomian nasional Indonesia.
